temp keeps dropping to 36.1 celsius

Postby darcyjade » Thu Feb 14, 2013 6:50 pm

Wondering if anyone can help me?
I am waiting to see rheumatologist asI have lots of fibro type symptoms.
However, this week I havehad two episodes where I have felt extremely cold to the core, felt ill and new I just had to go bed to get myself warm. I happened to think about taking my temp and it was 36.1, which as an ex nurse I know is very low. After a ciuple of hoyrs of warming mytemp was 36.6 not exactly high but on border of being normal.
All my bloods never show a prob with thyroud or anything other than cholesterol,
What I want to know is does anyone else here have this happen?
sorry for typos, but sending this from phone and difficult to edit

My normal temperature is 36.1, if it gets up to 36.6 or higher it means I'm ill. My gp's had it on my file for years as a 'normal' 37deg is very high for me and means there's something going on.
Maybe it's your wonky fibro-thermostat?

thanks for your reply :-)
I've been reading that a temp this low doesnt allow enzymes etc to wirk properly and there was a list if assossiated symptoms of which I had them all ( basically all the normal fibro stuff)
So is low tmp a norm for firo?
