Skin being painful, feeling as if it is sunburnt, itchy etc is a part of FM for most of us at some point along the way. For some it can come and go, whereas others find it lurks around for quite a while.

To make things feel a little more comfortable, rubbing something like aloe vera gel or even some aftersun lotion into the affected area(s) can help.

Do bear in mind tho, FM may not always be behind a problem that has appeared. Other issues can cause similar reactions and responses in our bodies, so if things don't start to settle down, worsen, or are just giving you cause for concern, seeking advice and help from a suitably qualified person would be a sensible move.
