Mouth ulcers & cysts

Postby lemurin » Tue Apr 22, 2014 8:53 am

Has any one else suffered with the above since having FM symptons?

I always have at least one mouth ulcer (currently have 5!) and they are always horrifically painful!

I also suffer with ganglion cysts. I have about 10 I think all over my hands. I have one on my thumb which is constantly painful and causes numbness as well as slow moving fingers.

I think I am going to have to get that one surgically removed as it is just a constant problem.

Any tips for mouth ulcers?

Does nothing for me!

The only thing I found that worked was like a Q tip with liquid in that you snapped?

It took the pain away and made the ulcer go away but it made my face swell... not ideal really lol

Have you been checked for auto-immune diseases?

Have you TMJ (clenching/grinding teeth i know can cause ulcers)

I dont think I have been checked for that. I will ask though at my next GP appointment, thank you.

And nope, don't do any of that. it's so strange, because i never got them until all my symptoms started.

Other members have posted about getting ulcers before, have you put mouth ulcers into the search facility at the top of the page, there may be something there that could help you :fingerscrossed: :fingerscrossed: :fingerscrossed:

I get ulcers or inflamed taste buds. Anbesol liquid is what I use. Numbs the pain and kills bacteria.
