bursitis and neuroma

Postby perseus » Sat May 10, 2014 6:56 pm

When being tested for plantar fasciitis on my right heel six months ago the ultrascan also diagnosed bursitis and a neuroma nearer the ball of the foot! The Podiatrist made up a orthotic insole for me, but it was impracticable as were previous ones. I made them up myself instead.

The Plantar has thankfully gradually subsided but I'm starting to get pain in the toes now. I'm wondering if this is referred pain from the bursitis. So it looks like an operation is the next step, but I've found this private treatment with fewer side effects with only a few days off allegedly!
