Carpel Tunnel

Postby Beth1012 » Wed Jun 04, 2014 5:36 pm

Hello Again

I'd be really interested to hear about experiences of people with fibro & chronic Carpel Tunnel......

I've now had the maximum number of steroid injections my GP can do with no lasting result.

Am due to see Consultant about surgery next week.

Does the surgery work? Is it worth going through?

Would love to hear from you

Thanks

Yes it works. I have had both wrists done. The surgery is quite simple, small scars and reasonably quick recovery. The results are instant. It is done through day surgery, one hand at a time, for obvious reasons. I have never, n the many surgeries for it, heard of a failure. Try to relax.
