Postby TeejThorne » Fri Jul 11, 2014 9:22 am

Doea anyone else have diabetes and Fibro? if so can anyone give me any pointers on what I should be watching out for I have only been diagnosed with Fibro in the last week, I have IBS too and on lots of meds for my diabetes which is almost impossible to control .... I was wondering if this was the fibro causing the problems?

I don't have diabetes but I do have ibs, underactive thyroid & arthritis. What problems are you having hun? My arthritis has recently restarted from being in remission. I spoke to my nurse and she said my arthritis makes my fibro worse, so not sure if other conditions can make it worse too.
I am a fibro fighter not a fibro sufferer. I will keep fighting from the minute I get up til the minute I go to bed.

Hi there, I have both plus a million and one other things  My diabetes is fairly well controlled but the only thing that may be an issue between them would be the tiredness, fatigue, as both cause it. I had a problem with keeping blood sugars under control and ended up on insulin. So it might be worth looking at.
Good luck :-)
