A friend of mine, that I have not seen for a while, Has told me she has been diagnosed with polymialgia, and when comparing symptoms we have much the same, Is poly part of fibro, or fibro part of poly ? Does anyone know?? Change in weather affecting me at momment but weather forcast says it is to warm up after dinner lol to all

Popped you into here dejay with you asking about another health problem/condition.

From my understanding, FM and Polymyalgia are 2 separate conditions rather than being a part of each other. It is possible for someone to have both conditions together, just like it is possible for someone to have one or the other separately.

We have a relative who was dx'd with Polymyalgia a few years ago. I think part of their treatment involved steroids, and after something like 2 years, they were told that the Polymyalgia had burnt itself out.

Agree with fluppy. As far as I can remember your inflammatory markers in blood are raised. :teddy-bear:
