Hi Just wondering if anybody else has IBS connected with Fibro? I have had it for 40+ years and stress of any kind makes it worse. I have tried all the usual stuff..imodeum. peppermint oil, motilium, acidophulus, cut out spicy food, coffee etc but can still have absolutely awful spasms of pain followed by an awful bout of going to the loo. These episodes leave me absolutely exhausted. It is bad enough trying to cope with the pain of firo and OA but when the IBS kicks in as well ....horrible. Trying to shift a back pain that seems to have moved in with me permanently this week! Nice to chat to others in a similar boat. Bar.

IBS is a common symptom with Fibro.

Have you ever read 'The First Year: IBS'? It helped me enormously and I had severe IBS too.
