If this continues i would have a look at the side effects of your medication - you should get a paper leaflet inside your meds that tells you the side effects from mild to need to see your Dr.
Otherwise take a trip to your Dr and see waht is going on.
Meds can affect your liver and cause itching, so i wouldnt hang about suffering.
Dry skin with the fibro can give you itching too.

yes its connected to fibro, i can scratch my skin roar some days, i put lots of moisturising cream on.
my GP put me on antihistamines which stopped it, i have come off them now though, but not itching so much.

when i first started on tramadol i itched for hours and hours and hours. now that it is a regular drug in my system (with all the others keeping it company ) the itching does go away for me now.

my friend had an operation and the nurses gave her tramadol. she had such itchy boobs that she kept lifting up her top to scratch in full view of people in her groggy post op state so the nurses tied on scratch mittens lol. she looked a right banana!!!

Hello from a 'newbie' to this forum!

I now realise that I have had FM for nearly 40 years without knowing the link to all of my symptoms.

When I was a teenager, I became sensitive to water! If I had to go out in the rain, my eyes and lips would swell and I would come out in itchy red lumps (hives).

Although, thankfully, my reaction to water is not now as severe, I still cannot stand to have it on my skin; I can only bear a bath/swimming for about 20 minutes before I have to towel dry. If I get my cuffs wet when I wash my hands I have to go & get changed.

It makes life more interesting, doesn't it?
