thirst during night

Postby princess » Mon Jun 15, 2009 8:13 pm

Dont know about you, but i have a terrible thirst during the night, so i take a glass of water or lemonade or something with me for bedside table.
Of course you drink you need to pee, and that means you are up during the night for toilet, more than once.
There is diabetis in family so Dr tested me, but it was normal just like everythign else.
I personally think its the tramadol.
Anyone else have this problem.

yes....I have to take a bottle of water to bed with me....I find that having a drink in a sports bottle means I am less likely to spill it.

I do too, just pull the tip up.
I took a normal small bottle with a lid and during the night i needed a drink, unscrewed the lid dropped the lid and could not find it, did not want to turn light on so left it until the morning to find it.
now take a sports bottle..

me too as get dry throat and mouth cos i sleep with mout open and also tabkets.im not diabectic.thouh

apparantly if you drink up to 8 glasses of water a day which is the proper amount we should drink. in sips throughtout te day not all in one go. it should make our kidneys work better and so we shouldnt need to have to keep going more to the loo.

as it is supposed to regulate your bladder.

Yep, I must have a drink with me at night because of dry mouth.

Have changed from pint glass to sports bottle since discovering my cat also likes a drink at night  .
