Hi to you all.
I was wondering if anyone knew of anything good for sickness.
I have it for nearly a week with diahorrea on and off.
None is unusal just the severity.
I feel so sick and as if everything is getting stuck in top of stomach and its so painful.

Managing lollies and yogurt.
Not taking much pain relief.
My head which is hell actually hasnt been that bad but no now that the tabs do help when you dont take them you realize.
Im on trmadol paracetamol and mef acid.
was due to start oxycontin but wont be and to be honest dont want more tablets they cant be helping.and I begged to try them
Am allergic to metrochlpride and domperidone on cyclizine which isnt helping and pepto bismul.
My dr away till mon could see 1 tomorrow but wonder shoud I wait it may ease.
Am concerned about an ulcr and if theres more with bowel xx sorry so long :?

Hi, I haven't really got any ideas, but wanted to send you :hugs:

Early on, before the fibro dx and after the riding accident, I was put on double dose brufen, but not warned about the effect it can have on your stomach. As a consequence, I've developed a hiatus hernia following a small stomach ulcer which healed once I went on esomeprazole. I'm now on lansoprazole twice a day, which has helped, but by the time I had to swallow the camera as part of the diagnostics, I had two 3cm lesions on the oesophagus. I couldn't really lie down as the burning and pressure of my stomach was too painful. I'm not sure if this is the same as what you're describing, but I was very cross when told that the brufen frequently causes this. Why couldn't they have prescribed something to protect my stomach? :banghead:

Hope you get some relief soon.

Sorry to hear you are so poorly, I can't really help milk of magnesia is supposed to help with a unsettled stomach if you have any. You really should see a Dr or you could call NHS direct they might be able to suggest something until you can see Dr.
Make sure you drink plenty cos sickness & diahorrea really dehydrates you.
Hope you feel better soon
Take care Maria :hugs:

Thankyou all so much sorry havent been on or relied to you shaz.
Thankyou so much for the messages.
Still not great.Went to dr and have lansoprazole which has helped the heartburn but still feeling very sick and getting bouts of diahorres.
Got to go back as its 2 weeks and not much improvement.

Have had to stop mef acid and havent been able to try oxycontin.
So hard to know if its just fibro or side effect from meds.
Thanks for link am allergic to some anti sickness so going to pharmacist to discuss which I could take.

Will give it another few days with new tabs and then will have to go back its really knocked me for 6 and wasnt good before this,

Moan over thankyou all for your advice.
Hope your doing ok

Hope you are feeling better now.
If you are still having the same symptoms, i think you should ask your GP to send you to see a bowel specialist, as it could be a blockage.
I have crohns and i go through the symptoms you descried.
Don't want to scare you but i think it should be looked at more closely.
Good luck, keep us updated. :hugs:

I think you should ask for some tests to be done.

Have you had bloods taken recently? If not it might be a good idea to get some done, just to rule out things.
