i have IBS, asthma, and what i am told is a form of ecxema on my feet although i tend to ignore the feet one as it is just tiny itchy blisters that come and go and dont really affect anything.

Thanks everyone for your replies,
I just wondered if there was a link with the illnesses. My Docs say I have Eczema,Asthma and IBS because of "my type" so I wondered if the same "type" of person is also prone to FM.

Best .

I've got an inhaler but that's all.. oh and E45 for the excema which is on my face :( I have dry skin anyway, the gabapentin make my skin dryer and then I get an excema flare and I look like a leper or a sloughing snake

Ooohhh, that reminds me of my theory that we are being experimenting on by aliens... maybe they are lizards and are turning us into them :yikes:

  I have yet to find anyon ewho can prove I'm wrong on that theory

IBS is def associated with FMers... not sure about the others.

Betnovate mixture which is a topical steroid.

I'm not going to argue with that except I think It's the Doc's that are experimenting on us.

It could follow then that the others are.

Best wishes,

IBS, yes. I have learned how to manage it quite well *famous last words*

I get dry skin on my legs but not excema since I was a very small child - my son does though, and my neices (all usually mild thankfully)- sure there must be a genetic connection somewhere :dunno:
