Yes to Ibs which is really playing up at the moment , any tips ? Shrimp interested in your post re adhesions as I had a total hysterectomy 2004 and along with Fibro now things have never been the same especially with the ibs . I bet some of my problems are adhesions hadn't thought of that, it would explain some of the symptoms I get . I ought to have remembered as i used to code the medical notes for gynae patients and now remember the adhesion problems that many had which are identical to mine.

Its the wind part of ibs I have problems with and especially on standing which is strange isn't it , but if it combines with adhesions then that would really add up. I also get a really cold abdomen which I have had since the op and apparently is where the muscles were cut and the nerves don't connect now , so again adhesions would have formed.

Thanks Shrimp I think you have solved something for me , just need to get things back to some sort of ok now , I find that ibs make me feel the worse actually its so embarassing , so you don't want to venture out .

Is there anything anyone takes that seems to really help settle the wind side of it?

I have asthma and psoriasis which is related to the both.

I get it on my face and rather than use the E45 cream they prescribe I use a goats milk cream that I get from Woods of Windsor.. you can probably find it online.

It is quite expensive but a pot lasts me ages and ages. It clears my flare up within 24 hours.
I swear by it now.

I have asthma.
I had childhood eczema.
I have something wrong with my bowel but still undergoing investigation, it may be IBS, although they think it's unlikely.
