Foot pain

Postby DaveD » Sun Sep 13, 2009 10:07 am

Hi all

Lets talk about feet

For the last year or two I have suffered terribly with aching feet and hands which was again put down to arthritis

Does anyone else suffer with ball and heel pain , its so bad sometimes I have problems walking and the strange thing is that its more apparent when my Achilles tendon is tight ????? Probably not the best description but its the best I can manage on a sunday morning . lol

I suffer with my feet.
My heels feel like i have walked a mile and throb.
The upper part of my feet feel numb but feel like they are hot with needles pricking into them.(its hard to explain.).

I have trouble walking on them some days.

(by the way what does atvb mean. my head is not with it today. lol.)

Get yourself some foam insoles and put them in every pair of shoes you use, even your slippers and you will find that it helps your feet.
Wont take all the pain away but will make them more comfortable.
I did this years ago and it helped me

Please dont always put everything down to fibro ,it could be that you are hurting somewhere else and you try to compensate for this so you are not walking on the correct part of your foot.A good supporting shoe or trainer with an arch support will help.If the pain is worse after resting then it could be plata fasciatis ,a very painful condition ,this would be made worse by tight ham strings as its all connected.Motherelle.xx
