They said this years ago - rotavirus.

Thank you for that Derek,i have just had a look on that link, it said that ME could be caused by a stomach virus, i have stomach problems and ibs, so in myc case there could be some truth in that :mrgreen:

ME and FM aren't the same thing, there is even a lot of debate as to wether ME and CFS are the same thing. Just so the FMers don't go getting too excited with this. Hence it being in Associated problems as a lot of our members have ME and FM.

Yup, it's possible that this could be a factor in a subset of people with the ME, ME/CFS or CFS diagnoses. Possibly in the future, people with chronic fatigue from other causes will be given a seperate diagnosis...some people with an ME dx might have Fibro for example.
