ok Thank you both for you replies. Its very useful.
I have been feeling so bad taking them I have been considering stopping anyway. I have only been taking them for a week or so and only 10mg.
I am sick of feeling sick if that makes sense.
So I kinda jumped at someone saying its no good lol if you know what I mean.
I haven't decided yet whether to stop it or not yet........

My sleep routine is getting so that I hve less and less daytime again, but that could be the change to winter and the dark.

Let your GP know you are getting side effects, and definitely get medical advice asap if you get any really scary side effects, but fwiw, a lot of meds have side effects that wear off after 1-2 weeks. So unless you've been on a med at the same dose for a few weeks, you don't yet know what the side effects are going to be like for you....you need to give meds longer to see if they can help.

40 plus for me too!
Upon looking around on this, for me, newly discovered site, I am struck by how many (like me at 18) of us have had car/traffic accidents years ago; spinal mis-alignment problems could well be the missing link (literally, too - ha!). Has there been any research into this does anyone know?

Dr Andrew Holman has been doing research into positional cervical cord compression and Fibro:

(Note, you need to download the Microsoft Silverlight player to watch the video on the above link)

Other research has also been done is being done, e.g.

I run FibroAction, a small national charity raising awareness of Fibromyalgia Syndrome. I am not a qualified healthcare professional. If you would like medical references for any facts quoted, just PM me.
