Letter from my Neuro

Postby Elsbeth » Thu Jan 14, 2010 2:40 pm

Hey all

Just a small update.

Had a copy of the letter from my Neuro about my LP, indicating what they were testing for and they are as follows.

"Any central nervous system manifestation and Systemic autoimmune disorder.
These tests will include Lupus, ANCA, B12 and Cardiolipin"

Lupus, OK yeah considering they think I have MS.
ANCA and B12 are Antibody issues
Cardiolipin is an idicator or a variety of issues including Parkinsons and Alzheimers.

OH JOY!!!

Not till Feb.

I feel proper rough, I had a funny turn last night,

I was sat on the sofa and all of a sudden I had a really loud low toned ringing in my ears. I was almost deaf in that ear.
My head was all over the place, I couldn't speak to my OH and my eyes were all over the place,.it lasted about 30 seconds and all I was left with was a ringing in my ears like Tinitus.

Most odd.

:hugs: hope the tests all come back ok :hugs: As someone who has 24/7 tinnitus and gets sudden increases in it that last a minute or two I sympathise entirely. I find my tinnitus is worse when my FM is worse... they seem to go hand in hand :?
