did i have a UTI? (happy days)

Postby Adele » Mon Mar 28, 2011 2:37 am

do UTIs cause agitation, depression and lethargy? i saw a hospital doctor at the end of january as it burns to pee. the test was negative but i had had 3 courses of antibiotics in january for other things that could have skewed the result.

my lower abdomen is cramping, and i feel faint and agitated and angry. i slept until 5:30pm yesterday so now i have insomnia. i'll make an appointment with someone today as my usual gp is away, but in the mean time does this sound like a UTI to you?

i feel like :swear1: so any pleasantries greatfully accepyed. as is a magic cure. thanx ad

i am also having a flare so not smilie today i'm afraid. life would a lot different if care was available but :swear1: it's not.

I thought you'd mentioned in some recent posts that you've had a carer that came, helped you out and took you out sometimes??

You need to see a gp to see what is causing the problem.

While you're waiting for an appt, drinking cranberry juice might provide you with some relief

Hi
Keep drinking lots of fluids adele that will help flush it out but if you urine is buring when you go to loo then you can buy some stuff from the chemist to stop it, saves having to go to the docs.

Hi Adele, just saw your post,
I regularly get UTI'S and they wipe me out and sometime put me to bed.
I feel like the flu with lower abdominal pain and backache and get very shiverery.

Hope you soon feel alot better.

No problem. Glad to be of help.
If you still don't feel well i would take a water sample to the Doctors or if you can't get someone else to for you.
You may have another infection and only antibiotics will helps clear this up.

Keep in touchxx
