Please Remember When Discussing Treatments & Medication...

Postby FluppyPuffy » Mon Feb 20, 2012 10:49 pm

...that the advice that we give generally comes from our own experiences and what we have found out as we have learnt more about how we each are affected by FM. As far as I am aware, no~one on here is a qualified doctor. Whilst the intention behind what we suggest is to help someone with what we have discovered, it is possible for that advice to be unsuitable and/or incorrect, not intentionally but due to the dreaded fog or misunderstanding.

Whatever is suggested, please try and approach it with an open mind, and make sure that you discuss your own treatments and medication with a suitable qualified medical professional :teddy-bear: :teddy-bear: :teddy-bear:

The board is for discussing treatments and medications available thru the NHS or from a private doctor. If you want to post about complementary/alternative treatments, massage, vitamins and supplements, please do so in Help/Tips On Coping.

Please feel free to post about meds, therapies etc that you have been referred for, prescribed and/or tried. It helps to hear about the different things that are available, esp when it is something that has helped make a difference :bear-dancing: :bear-dancing: :bear-dancing:

If your dog doesn't like someone, then you probably shouldn't either
