Natural help ideas?

Postby Crazygirl » Thu May 31, 2012 4:14 pm

I have been taking "VegEPA" for a few years now (Omega 3 & 6) and for the past few months "Cherry Active". My worst symptoms are pains and aches in legs, insomnia plus tiredness that comes on very suddenly and makes me want to collapse.

I was diagnosed by my doctor from a process of elimination in 2007 but apart from antidepressants have never been given any other medication. I'm now going through the very long process of repeated doctors appointments pushing to be referred for a definite diagnosis from a specialist (and you all know how long that can take) but in the meantime want to try to help myself.

What supplements/treatments do any of you try. I'd be grateful for ideas to try myself. Thank you. Jo x

Hi jo, I'm definitely worse if I get I'll in any other way, so take selenium ace to support my immune system and vitamin d. Been taking them for about 5 months now. I also like massage and reflexology for pain relief, plus exercise as much as I can manage.

May just be psychological but doing these things makes me feel I have some control over the fibro which is important to me, though I do take cocodamol and amitryptaline too.
