I don't know about websites, but I asked my consultant who seems really on the ball with Fibro and he said, the only supplement he feels works is Magnesium. Since taking it I do feel a little less exhausted. I was also advised to take vit B complex for sores at the side of my mouth and that has cleared up too. Good luck :-D

Hi Miss Cheeky

I take a combined tablet with Calcium, Magnesium and Vitamin D. My GP advised this to help fight the fatigue and I must say it has really helped me. I still feel really tired but no where near as bad as I used to, and if I miss a day or two I can really feel it!

I get mine from Holland and Barratt. You just need to check with either your GP or a pharmacist before taking anything else to make sure they won't interfere with any of your meds.
What doesn't kill you will only make you stronger ;-)

Hey,

I take a 3000mg vitamin D spray each morning which has really helped with the neuro pain and the tiredness. It was recommended by my dr and started working really quickly. I also take a vit B complex and 800mg vitamin C. These have worked wonders and 3 weeks out of 4 each month my fibro is almost under control.

I tried to take magnesium malate for a while but my tummy didn't like it :-(

I'm thinking about 5 htp for the other week, (the week before my monthlies) but am not sure...

Hope this helps, I'd definitely recommend the vit d spray.

If your dog doesn't like someone, then you probably shouldn't either

According to all what I've been to read about FM, supplementation into Magnesium & Vitamin B1 & B6 could be an interesting way to follow.
-Myself, I have just started to take supplement: Mg, B1, B2, B3, B5, B6, B9, B12, C, D3 & E ! (One of these should help!?...)
and effectively, since I was a kid, I do not remember to have taken any supplement in Mg or Vitamin; According to my Doc, it is not easy to measure if your body needs Mg, so he prescribed some and we will see...
-Anybody knows if this is possible to measure? (Like Vitamin D, for example)

I found a very interesting page on the web (unfortunatly in French) about that subject and what to take or not:

http://www.esculape.com/fmc2/spidtrt.html

This is what it convince me to try. I'll let you know if I feel some benefits.
