Medical herbalist

Postby tintagel » Thu Apr 23, 2015 10:16 am

HI, I have just booked a consultation with a medical herbalist, out of desperation really I guess. I do believe in the 'old ways' and modern medicine is doing nothing to help my rapidly advancing fibro. I've nothing to loose, except the fee.
I'm just wondering if anybody else out there has been down this path?
Thankyou.

I haven't been to a medicinal herbalist but I do use lots of herbal remedies to alleviate the symptoms such as using olive oil to treat the eczema in my ears rather than the steroid drops the GP prescribes. I find that herbalists tend to have a more holistic approach and look at how all the symptoms lead to each other, such as pain being caused by lack of sleep which is caused by pain, and try to treat the whole body. Good luck I hope it goes well
