Sign petition as a ukfm member ?

Postby Brens » Fri Nov 07, 2008 11:12 pm

How about we identify ourselves when we sign these goverment petitions.
I noticed on the winter fuel payment for disabled under 60,s petition someone put "Chronically sick "after their name.
This might help those that read them get an idea about who is petitioning .
I would suggest "ukfm member". Does it say enough ?
OR Fibromyalgia sufferer...... OR FM syndome, anything except Fibromite which I personally hate (make me feel itchy  )
POST any others, or say if you think it would be useful. (Or not) ! Brens x

IS there an option to add comments? If they added it in the name box it could invalidate their "signature".

How about adding it in your address e.g.

Fibro Sufferer, The Beeches, Upper Whossname, Livingham.

Sounds good to me Gill, my reasoning is lets take every opportunity to see FMS recognised and if it gets noticed enough on petitions etc., then that can only be a good thing , although I take note of Linzworld that we maybe dont want to disqualify our votes by adding it to our names , but if our name followed by MBE is ok then FMS should also be , brens x
