Sorry to hear that - my partner also got rejected - he's got Secondary Progressive MS and he had to go to tribunal to get what he quite rightly needed, and as a result, he's got the lot. So don't give in!

Everything seems to be a battle but it's well worth fighting for!!

If you want to find out how hard somebody will fight, fight them when they're in a corner!!

Glad you approve of the name lol!

Just keeping you updated on the petition - we are now up to 1,575 signatures so a big thank you to all who have signed.

For those who want to know more about LDN and Fibro, please don't forget to look at

Thanks Gill. Just checked the petition again and out of all the health petitions on the 10 Downing St website it is currently no. 10. However, two petitions will expire tomorrow which will bring it up to being 8th place. Not bad out of 702 petitions so thanks for having this on the website and especially to all who have supported this campaign.

Please let's keep it going

Just popping in to let you all know that we've almost hit the 2,000 mark with signatures for the petition. If each one of us can get 10 more signatures then the Govt. HAS to take note of our lobbying and invest in funds for getting this drug trialled.

There have been some trials going on at the moment specifically for Fibromyalgia, but we need to take it to phase III in order for the medical profession to sit up and take note.

So if any of you can help with gaining signatures it really will help all of us with any auto immune related disease - and they're not nice!!!

Last weekend was the first European conference on LDN and it really IS eye opening. If you go to the glasgowldn20009 website you will find updates from speakers etc that spoke at this conference.

Many thanks!

Hey Chelsea,

Just signed it, and also copied it and sent it via email to everyone I know (and asked them to forward to everyone THEY know!), also posted it on facebook, so hopefully there'll be enough response to get the required amount of signatures.

Thanks Armansgirl,

That is great - just what we need! Goodness, there's no harm in getting this thing trialled so we all have an option and have more knowledge of what is out there and available to us right now!! You read so many stories about drugs available in the future, but LDN is here and now but as it's not licensed some GPs and neuro's etc are reluctant to prescribe it. Some will. But let's all have the benefit of being given this option.

That's brilliant. I'm on FB too by the way :D

Just another quick update, we now have over 3,150 signatures on our petition and out of all 5,020 petition on the 10 Downing Street website, we are currently in the top 40 (34th). We have recently in the past 4 weeks had two local papers covering our story of petitioning the Govt and hopefully we will have more.

However, we are going to have an LDN Awarenes Day on Sept 12th. We will be providing information on the reasons behind the Petition to No. 10, and we will ask members of the public for their signatures in support of the Petition.

All of us who know about LDN feel that we have a duty to bring it to the attention of as many people as possible, so that anyone who may need it, will be encouraged to Google "LDN" and then have the freedom to choose.

The Petition will highlight the importance of LDN to our politicians, and in time this will enable our Medical Professionals to prescribe LDN on the NHS. To bring this about, sooner rather than later, we would appreciate any support if you're interested. We will explain our plans to you, how you can help, and would welcome any suggestions you may have.

A number of us around the UK will be handing out leaflets re LDN, either placed in shopping centres or supermarkets to collect signatures. If you can spare any time to help we would be extremely grateful. Please let me know.

Please do sign our petition for LDN to be trialled. Many thanks! Jayne
