Hi folks,

I just thought I'd pop in and give you all a quick update on the LDN petition to 10 Downing Street. We have now reached over 9,000 signatures, currently 4th in the health category and in the top 20 of all petitions. We'd love to reach 12,000 by the time the petition expires on 23rd November for Dr Chris Steele from ITV This Morning to hand into 10 Downing Street. We are still campaigning hard to get more signatures (not easy) by hitting the streets all around the UK and asking people to support our campaign.

This has been working extremely well. If you have not seen Dr Chris's video, please click here http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=CVpjsDK0LPA

If any of you have any suggestions how to get our numbers up within the next couple of weeks, I'd love to hear from you. If you haven't signed our petition, please do we could do with all the help we can get http://petitions.number10.gov.uk/LowDNaltrexone/

Many thanks!
Jayne

Anyone on MSN Facebook etc could put the word out, also any other forums people are on even if they aren't FM related, could put the word out there as well. Email people with a link and ask them to pass it on to everyone they can and so on.

Thanks Gill, we're doing that as well. I was thinking about putting notices in colleges, libraries etc as well. Appreciate that.

Cheers!

If you are really sneaky how about some leaflets 'accidentally' left in the doctors waiting room or on the chemists counter? Dentists as well?

Gill, I like your thinking, have done this in the dentists, but not the Drs. Good idea and thanks for the 'tip'!

Don't forget hospitals... lots of hand waiting areas where people are stuck waiting for ages and looking for something to read.
