FM & MPs Questions (Hansard)

Postby MCT » Tue Mar 31, 2009 7:36 pm

If you have a little time to spend try having a look at this:

http://www.publications.parliament.uk/c ... ia&start=0

It gives the answers to questions that have been raised in Parliament regarding Fibromyalgia - it is a complete and utter farce and the quality of the answers just go show that the Government just couldn't give a toss about 2 million of their electorate!

We definitely need to get on to our local MPs (and devolved representatives MSPs etc) and make them aware of FM and how poorly we are being treated by "the system".

There is an All-Party Parliamentary Group on Fibromyalgia, you'll find details of members here: http://www.publications.parliament.uk/p ... emi286.htm

Not sure how it works ie are we allowed to write to them with subjects we'd like them to discuss etc.

My get up and go just got up and went!!!

As you slide down the bannister of life, may all the splinters be facing in the right direction :)

Yes, that's how it works! Write to them or make an appointment for the constituency surgery and tell them a bit about yourself, then ask them to join the APPG on Fibro and support the upcoming Westminster Hall debate.
