Hi, I have had Fybro for about four years.....it started at the same time as I kept being very sick and was diagnosed with a twisted stomach.
I kept telling the surgion I felt like I had the flu....ached from head to foot. He told me it had nothing to do with my stomach....
Anyway I had the surgery , but the flu like symptoms continued.....
Eventually I saw a specialist who diagnosed Fybro.....
I also have cronic arthritus, and have had surgery on my spine, but still have five ruptured discs.......also have had a failed knee replacment.
I still have constant bouts of nausia, and was wondering if anyone else suffers nausia?......I am having a bad flare up of Fybro at the moment......So glad I have found this forum as I feel most people think it's all in the mind.....
Thank you for listening to me......sorry for moaning. :-?

Yes, I often suffer from nausea for no apparent reason. It's been going on for about a year now, on and off, so I can't really blame it on the food I eat anymore. I usually drink some lemon tea or a coke to relieve it and sometimes chew on a dry cracker. I have no idea why it happens except that it never gets any worse and disappears for weeks at a time.
I also have those fly symptoms and find I have flare ups and then get better sometimes for a couple of months before it comes back. Never been too sure what triggers a flare up, could be stress, could be exhaustion.
Hope you're feeling better soon.
