Who Knows Where

Direction ceases to come forward,

Madness chooses to ignore,

Voices of the highway surround you,

While you stand alone at destiny’s door,

Howls of a lone rider,

Shatter tears that tear,

Wet cheeks glisten,

As you travel to who knows where.

Hamlet’s ghost comes to me at noon,

Yet I still see no colour,

There’s nothing left here,

But the grave of his mother,

I am no Romeo,

And I do not care,

For I am free to wander,

Down the stairs to who knows where.

Lullabies of roaring thunder,

Eat away at my mind,

Glimpse medusa and her lover,

To see that love is blind,

Infatuating spells of angel’s words,

Don’t be fooled be aware,

For they are but demons,

In the alley of who knows where.

Clocks turn back their hands,

As sailors pray for rain,

The howling winds scream murder,

The devastated vessel, insane,

Astray upon the seven seas,

With a boat beyond repair,

May as well go swimming,

And sink to who knows where.
